Patient Opinion

Interesting article in today’s Observer discussing the barriers for health service patients providing feedback on their perceptions of the care they received. A survey found that while people are happy to give opinions of hotels and restaurants, it argues they are reticent in criticising the health service. The survey was funded by Patient Opinion, a web site for patients to leave comments on their perceptions of service, whether positive or negative. Patient Opinion is funded by health service providers as a channel to monitor their service quality.
